Our Story — a house built on water, and silence
Velvet Moments began in Boka Bay, in a shipping family's office where charter contracts were drawn by hand and no client was ever named aloud. What started as favours for a few principals — a birthday at anchor, a wedding on a fortress island — became a discipline: the composition of private marine celebrations at a level the hospitality industry is not structured to deliver.
We are not a booking platform and not an event agency. We are an atelier of fewer than twenty people, working with vetted captains, Michelin-starred kitchens, close-protection teams and berth masters across the Mediterranean, the Americas, the Gulf and the Indian Ocean. Each programme is written once, for one family, and never repeated.
Discretion is not a service line here — it is the architecture. No guest name, vessel registration or venue address leaves the studio, in any form, at any point. As we say in the studio: true luxury never seeks public applause. Our greatest quality is discretion, and our only recommendation — the lasting trust of those who choose us.
The methodology
Four movements, from first word to open water
The private brief
A single conversation, held under mutual NDA, establishes the shore, the season, the guest architecture and the threshold of exposure you will accept.
Composition
Two to three distinct concept directions are written — not mood boards, but hour-by-hour flows with vessel class, crew ratio, power plan and weather alternates.
Verification
Costs are broken down and marked Included, Not included or To confirm. Hidden charges and contract risks are listed as questions to put to each provider before you pay.
Your booking roadmap
Verified booking desks, the order to reserve in, and a final checklist. You contract directly with each house; nothing is booked in your name by us.
